Crown Extender Set

Crown extenders allow you to increase the height of a shaped crown block such as trilbies/ fedoras & bowler. They are not intended as extensions that go in-between a crown and a brim but they simply screw onto the bottom of the crown and therefore increase its working height. They are used when blocking in one, both where the crown is pushed through the hole in the upturned brim and also where the crown is blocked flat on a work surface.

They come in a set of four thicknesses; 6mm (1/4″), 12mm (1/2″) 18mm (3/4″) and 25mm (1″) and are sized to match your crown block.
