CB282A Beanie Block

This beanie block has an 18cm diameter and is 4.7cm tall at its centre. An alternative to the hollowed base on blocks like this is the American-style block with a neck. A string is tied into the small groove at the base of the shape and after blocking, the ribbon can be sewn just below. After that, the ‘neck’ is flipped inside – a good option where the size of the block does not allow the base to be hollowed easily but is also a great technique on any similar shape of any size.
